The Pines Resort is proudlly hosting multiple events throughout the year, both free and paid. Those events are always open to the public and you don’t need to be our guest at the Resort to attend. We are  always trying to be ahead of your expectations and making sure your time at Bass Lake is enjoyable. Here are some of our favorite events from last year.

Kids Events

Easter Egg Hunt

on Saturday, before Easter, we are hosting a really fun event for kids – Easter Egg Hunt. The event is free to attend for children and their parents. We offer over 3,500 eggs, including several golden eggs that can be redeemed for special prizes. Egg hunt is hosted in age groups. Families can enjoy special games, crafts and live entertainment and take pictures with Easter Bunny during the event.

Halloween Carnival

Last year, we started a new tradition at Bass Lake – Halloween Carnival. Family friendly carnival with inflatables, face painting, games, fall crafts and pumpking patch. Children were welcome to come dressed in costumes and invited to participated in the Costume Contest with great prizes, followed by the trick or treat in the Village.  Grown ups enjoyed beer garden and live music. The event was free to attend.

Pictures & pancakes with Santa

In December Families were invitated to stop by Ducey’s on the Lake to take free pictures with the white bearded man from the North Pole, followed by a delicious pancake breakfast.

Special Events

To give you more reasons to come to the Lake, we hosted some special events that attracted many visitors from the Valley as well as local residents and guests.

Wine & Beer Tastings

Ducey’s on the Lake partnered with local brewery, South Gate Brewery, and winery – Idle Hour Winery to bring you a unique dining experience.  Our Executive Chef Johnathan Frabotta prepared a special six and seven course menu, that was paired with the beer and wine new releases.

Comedy Nights

This fun and affordable event was permanently added to our event calendar and we are happily hosting comedy nights 4-5 times a year. We are taking a break for the summer, but the next comedy night is coming back in September 2017. Guests wanting to catch a healthy dose of laughs, are invited to join us in the Lakeview Room. They can enjoy stand up comedy by four great comedians from the Bay and L.A. Area, hosted by Torio van Grol. Special menu and full bar are available for purchase.

Lakefront Concerts

(not just) Jazz on the Lake is taking over the stage on the Lakefront Gazebo Deck from Memorial Day until Labor Day. Live music,  drinks and BBQ dinner can be enjoyed on selected Fridays throughout the summer. Guests reserve their tables and seats online.

Paint Night

First paint night was hosted in May at the lakefront Gazebo Desk in partnership with Sublime Time. Guests were able to unleash their inner artists during this two-hour event. Step by step directions on how to create their own masterpiece – sunset at Bass Lake, canvas, supplies as well as a glass of wine were provided. * pictures by Sublime Time

Holiday Events

Each Holiday is celebrated at the Pines Resort with a special dining offer. Early in the year, we are hosting a romantic dinner for Valentine’s Day, followed by traditional buffets for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. On the 4th of July, we are offering all american BBQ with live music and fireworks. On Thanksgiving Weekend each year, for the past 25 years we are hosting Christmas Tree Lighting & Parade of Light in the Pines Village. Our guests ring in the New Year with a party in the Lakeview Room, while little ones can enjoy the Magic Show earlier in the day.
