The Holiday Fundraiser is a part of the 31st Bass Lake Christmas Tree Lighting and Parades of Lights. All donations collected for the fundraiser will benefit the Valley Children’s Healthcare Foundation and in exchange, the participants will be entered into an opportunity drawing for a chance to win a Family Getaway to Bass Lake.
Below we are presenting basic terms & condition for all participants:
DONATIONS:
Donations are accepted from November 15th until December 19th, 2022. We have defined 3 amounts: $25, $100 and $200.
In 2020 we donated $2,670.24
In 2021 we donated $3,600
In 2022 our goal is $5,000!
In 2022 all the donations will be earmarked for the George’s Pass Program that benefits children with autism.
DRAWING ENTRY:
1 entry = $25
5 entries = $100
12 entries = $200
PRIZE:
– 3-night stay in the Granite Ridge Villa from the Pines Resort.
– prize value $2,728 – $3,110; varies per redemption date.
– 11% tax and $450 cleaning fee are INCLUDED in the stay.
STAY:
– Travel Dates: January – May, 2023 or November – December 20, 2023.
– Arrival must be on a Sunday; departure on a Wednesday
– Dates including Holidays, are excluded.
– Stay is based on availability.
IMPORTANT:
– Max. occupancy 12 people.
– The winner will be required to cover incidentals; $1,000 authorization would be placed on the credit card at check in and released no later than 7 days after the departure, pending no property damage.
– Meals are not included.
– No pets allowed; no smoking.
– Once redeemed, the stay can only be modified once (date change) and no later than 30 days prior to the arrival.
– The winner will be required to sign the lodging contract.
– In addition, as a token of our appreciation, each donor will receive $40 off coupon to use toward lodging at the Pines Resort. The coupon will be emailed to all donors no later than by mid-December 2022.
– The Pines Resort will appear in your transactions under our business name: Home Away, Inc.
– Due to the charitable nature of this fundraiser with prizes, we welcome all donations, including those from the Pines Resort and/or Valley Children’s Healthcare Foundation & Hospital employees.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
1. Fill out the form: Name, Phone Number & Email.
2. Click on ‘DONATE’ button. It will open up in a new window.
3. In that window, select the amount and complete the purchase. *Please put your name and phone number in the notes.
4. Come back to the form and submit it by clicking ‘I donated’ button.
DISCLAIMER:
By entering the opportunity drawing, participants agree to get familiar with all the terms and conditions. The winner will be selected randomly by The Pines Resort’s on December 20th, 2022. The winner will be notified by phone and email within 48 hours from the drawing and will have until December 31st, 2022 to claim their prize. If not claimed, The Pines Resort will host another drawing on January 5th, 2023. The Pines Resort reserves the right to verify each application and require a proof of eligibility. Any applications that do not meet requirements or cannot be verified will be disqualified.

There may be a mistake on Disclaimer statement regarding date to claim prize and second drawing if needed.
