YOSEMITE RESERVATIONS
Mid-February 2022 National Park Services announced that, starting on May 20 through September 30, 2022 every visitor who is entering Yosemite National Park between 6am and 4pm will be required to have a reservation.
NPS believes that limiting the number of visitors in the Park will help manage congestions and provide the visitors with a better experience and access to all attractions and infrastructure.
Visitors can go to Recreation.gov to reserve their tickets. The rest of the availability will be released seven days before the arrival date
BASS LAKE WATER LAKE LEVEL
2022 will be considered “low water year” since the low precipitation resulted in the Bass Lake water level being below the “full lake”.
What does that mean?
It is expected that the water level will reach -7ft below the full lake, which is actually a bit fuller than last year.
In other words, there plenty of water to enjoy water activities, with some beach area around the lake.
INDEPENDENCE DAY, 4th OF JULY CELEBRATION
Bass Lake Live is THE PLACE to be if you want to celebrate the Independence Day this year.
Even though all of the hotel rooms and cabins are booked (they booked 6 months ago), everyone is welcome to join us for the festive, lake front BBQ Dinner with Live Music by The Marie Wilson Band. It is a family friendly event with a game/family zone, and discounted rates for children. Annual Boat Parade will start around 7pm and the sky will light up with an incredible fireworks show at dusk (around 9-9:15pm).
Tickets are sold online, and we are already approaching 40% capacity. This is the most popular event in the area and we expect to sell out.
