Yosemite In Spring
If you’re searching for the perfect springtime escape, look no further than Yosemite National Park. Yosemite National Park is a must-visit during this time of year.
The weather is mild, making it a great time for hiking and outdoor activities with wildflowers blooming and the waterfalls at their peak flow. The crowds have not yet arrived, so you can enjoy the park’s natural beauty in relative peace and quiet.
Not only can you enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities without the summer crowds, but the park’s reservation system has been discontinued, giving you the freedom to explore Yosemite on your own terms.
Bass Lake Live – Summer Concerts with Dinner
One of the highlights of the summer season at Bass Lake is the Bass Lake Live – concert series with dinner. This event promises an unforgettable evening of live music and delicious food. All set against the stunning backdrop of Bass Lake.
With *NEW THIS YEAR* four themed dinner buffets scheduled throughout the season, there’s something for everyone at this event. Season kick off concert will be hosted over Memorial Day Weekend and we will have a special fireworks show at 9pm to celebrate the arrival of Summer.

Lake Level at Bass Lake
Bass Lake sees hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. While a lot of them treat it as a hub for their Yosemite adventures, nearly a half comes specifically for the Lake and water activities. Bass Lake is classified as a “warm water” lake with its temperature reaching 80 degrees in summer months.
Did you know that:
- Bass Lake is owned and operated by PG&E. The Pines Resort has no control over the lake level.
- Water level in Bass Lake fluctuates throughout the year.
- The lake is NEVER completely empty.
This year we have some good news to share: with the challenging weather we experienced earlier this year, Bass Lake is already full for the summer season!
As the temperature rises, the lake level is increasing, and all the docks are floating. We are currently just 7ft away from a full lake level of 3377ft. With the lake full and ready for summer activities, there’s never been a better time to visit Bass Lake and experience all that this beautiful destination has to offer.
If you’re looking for a memorable spring or summer getaway, consider visiting Yosemite National Park and experience Bass Lake. With mild weather, breathtaking scenery, and a range of activities and events, these destinations offer something for everyone. Whether you’re planning a wedding, a family reunion, or simply a relaxing vacation, there’s no better place to do it than at Bass Lake. We hope to see you soon!
