How to Participate in the Event
This year's event will offer various components, giving you the flexibility to choose how you'd like to be a part of the festivities. Feel free to engage in multiple ways and make the most of this special occasion!
Attend the Event - FREE!
We invite all guests, residents, and visitors to join us at Bass Lake on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. The middle parking lot and the adjacent Pines Village Park will be filled with delightful decorations, inflatable displays, and a radiant array of Christmas lights, all set to the tune of our beloved holiday melodies. Best of all, this event is free for all to attend and enjoy!
Are you a business, club, association, organization or a family that is looking for a fun way to start the Holiday Season? This is also a great way to promote your business.
Float Parade
Join us this year and decorate your vehicle, trailer or a boat with holiday lights and inflatables and join the Parade of Lights. It is a great way to showcase your business and support the community.
Inflatable Display
Purchase and donate an inflatable, whether as a family, business, or club.
It's worth noting that every business can participate annually, even if they have donated in previous years. For those making donations from a distance, we gladly welcome monetary contributions, and on your behalf, we will acquire the inflatable for this wonderful cause.
Secret Santa
We encourage families and businesses to embrace the spirit of giving by becoming "Secret Santas." As part of our resort's festive December events, we'll be collecting Letters to Santa for a heartwarming giveaway, providing an opportunity for all to help make children's dreams come true. Join us in spreading the joy of the holiday season!
Holiday Fundraiser with Prizes
Donate to our highlighted charity for a chance to win a 3-night luxury stay at the Granite Ridge Villa (valued up to $3,110)! All proceeds will be directed to the Valley Children’s Healthcare Foundation. Your generosity could lead to a fantastic getaway while supporting a great cause!
Pictues with Santa
Join us in the Cedar Room for special family photos with Santa, following his arrival (approx. 7pm).
This wonderful service is generously provided by Carrie Jenkins Photography and sponsored by the Pines Resort, offering free photo sessions for all families.

Holiday Bazaar
Enjoy an opportunity to shop for early Holiday gifts for your loved ones! Nearly 30 vendors and local artists will be displaying their work in the Conference Center and in the Village, offering custom items, handmade goods and unique gifts.

Can I decide how to participate when I arrive?
Yes! You can participate as much or as little as you wish. Please keep in mind that some of the opportunities, like Float Parade, Secret Santa or Inflatable donation are only available in advance and we have a limited availability.How much does it cost to participate in the event?
Attending the event is FREE! There will be multiple opportunities to donate funds to our featured charity or for business promotion.What time should I arrive?
Festivities will start at 5:30pm with the float parade starting around 6:15pm. In order to park, take the shuttle service and find a good spot to watch the festivities, we recommend that you arrive no later that 5pm.Where should I park?
Parking in the Village will be very limited. We ask that all day-visitors park near the former Government Center on Road 274 and take advantage of the bus shuttle. Both the parking and the shuttle service are free.What happens in case of inclement weather?
This event is rain, snow or shine.How to dress?
The entire event, except for pictures with Santa will be held outdoors. Please dress comfortable for the weather. For weather updates, check www.BassLakeCA.com.Is lodging available?
