Our Lodging is definitely something, that sets us apart from other hotels. Unlike other hotels, we offer four different accommodations. Besides two-story cabins and lakefront Suites, we also rent large cabins and rental homes.

HISTORY
Bass Lake, and the resort it inspired, were a mountainside meadow just a century ago. The history of the Pines Resort dates back to 1930s, when two business partners purchased some rustic cabins on the shores of Bass Lake, CA. They started renovations designed to transform the property into a full-service, year-round destination. The Pines Resort was born. The legendary resort has welcomed generations of families and business and leisure travelers.
Whereas we retain our quaint charm, mountain lodge ambiance and character, there’s nothing old fashioned about us. Recently updated guest rooms and amenities, contemporary dining, recreational activities and a calendar of special events create the perfect destination for family vacations, corporate groups, and romantic getaways.

The natural beauty of Bass Lake has attracted Hollywood’s creative eye for generations. Movie and television directors have brought stars to Bass Lake, California and our Yosemite area hotel since the early 1930s. The 3,400 foot elevation of Bass Lake attracts Hollywood film crews to the scenic “high country” lake as a background year-round. Auto commercials for Cadillac, Honda, Chrysler and Isuzu were filmed here, as well as two Coors commercials.
In addition, the Resort is not only one of the largest employers in the area, but also community oriented. We actively participate in local fundraisers and support local organizations. The Pines Resort also hosts multiple free community events each year.
