The Holiday Fundraiser is a part of the 34th Bass Lake Christmas Tree Lighting and Parades of Lights. All donations collected for the fundraiser will benefit the Valley Children’s Healthcare Foundation and in exchange, the participants will be entered into an opportunity drawing for a chance to win a Family Getaway to Bass Lake.

Below we are presenting basic terms & condition for all participants:
TRADITION OF GIVING:
Each year, our guests, neighbors, and local businesses help grow this fundraiser into something truly remarkable. Here’s a look at what we’ve accomplished together so far:
- 2020: $2,670.24 donated
- 2021: $3,600 donated
- 2022: $4,784.41 donated
- 2023: $5,315 donated
- 2024: $3,580 raised (thank you!)
- 2025 Goal: $5,000
All donations collected this year will again be earmarked for the George’s Pass Program.
How to Participate
Donations will be accepted November 20 – December 31, 2025 in three preset amounts:
- $30
- $100
- $250
Each donation level corresponds to entries into our opportunity drawing:
- $30 donation = 1 entry
- $100 donation = 4 entries
- $250 donation = 12 entries
Participating is simple:

- Fill out the form: Name, Phone Number & Email.
- Select the amount and submit.
- Once submitted, check your email for entry confirmation.
The Grand Prize: A Family Getaway to Franklin’s Place by the Lake
One lucky donor will receive a 3-night stay at Franklin’s Place by the Lake, a stunning private home perfect for gathering, relaxing, and making memories.
Prize Details
- 3-night stay
- Value: $2,000–$2,700 (varies by redemption date)
- Includes: 11.5% lodging tax + cleaning fee
- Maximum occupancy: 10 guests

- Sunday–Wednesday stays only
- Holiday periods excluded
- Based on availability
Additional Information
- $1,000 incidental hold at check-in (released within 7 days after checkout pending inspection)
- No smoking, no pets
- Meals not included
- Winner may modify stay once up to 30 days before arrival
- Winner must sign a lodging contract
- Charges appear as GoFundMe on bank statements
- Due to the charitable nature of this fundraiser with prizes, we welcome all donations, including those from the Pines Resort and/or Valley Children’s Healthcare & Hospital employees.






Winner Announcement
- Drawing Date: January 7, 2025
- Winner Notified: Within 48 hours via phone and email
- Prize Claim Deadline: January 14, 2025
- If unclaimed, a secondary drawing will occur on January 16, 2025.
